Hello, I'm Burak Başaran from NAVEK Archery we will talk about what are the referee controls made in competitions Archery referees are working independent and unbiased Their priority is make all the archery compete equally For make this hapen they control equipments and field all around At the official training shooting time they control all equipments with alphabetical order check licenses Then check the official list of archers confirmed by provincial directorate Clothers must be white and archery must use sneakers All equipments must be confirmed with the rule book of World Archery Federation There must be names or special marks on the arrows All sizes must be in limits All arrows must be identical Finger tabs can't have any helper for draw or release while shooting They check our string as well for any kind of damage Can't have any helper for targeting on the strings too At compound bows, we can't use more than 60 pound referee check it surely At recurve bows, our target pins can't be longer than two centimeters We can't use any camo color on any cloth or equipment At the field controls there must be equipment lines and waiting lines shooting lines and team lines There must be number at shooting lines they will check that as well About targets target faces are correct or not target numbers are on A-B-C-D letters on the targets and wind flags as final check There must be a board worn the archers with sound and timers all archers must see it At the end of day, there is technical meeting All trainers judges and all workers join that General rules and special conditions mention on that meeting and they all confirm at the end We talk about referee controls at this video Don't forget the watch all our videos and write your opinion under see you at next video
